Before Tom Curren Arrived: 

This beautiful 5 bedroom single family home in Lincoln lost its sparkle through the Massachusetts weather it endured over the years, but the difference stain and translucent products completely restored the life that this home once had. The side by side before and after pictures truly look like two different homes. 

Our Process: 

An exterior painting is a little bit different than a staining. We do all of the same thorough and advanced prep work but because there is no actual color product for staining, we are using a translucent paint that will bring out the already existing pigment in the wood. To do so, our team used a chemical stripper with a pressure washer to all of the siding in order to remove the previous semi solid stain. A wood restorer and brightener were applied, along with two coats of translucent finish. Finally, the trim, window casings, and doors were scraped, prepped, caulked and applied two finish coats.

Tom Curren crews left this home radiant and glowing now that the shining inside matches the outside. The exterior stain really brings out the character of the home and shows the beautiful pigment in each plank of wood. Homes that have this natural appeal are pleasing to the eye in every season of the year, so we are happy to bring back its natural beauty and show the homeowners that we can do an extensive job in a timely and productive fashion.
