Before Tom Curren Arrived:

Towering at over eight thousand square feet, this European style Boston home was already beautiful, but with Tom Curren Companies’ expert craftsmanship, we were able to  make it sparkle. An interior painting job on a home this size takes excellent crews and materials which is what TCC is all about. Our Chestnut Hill client has since done a few other projects including extensive carpentry and full exterior painting of the entire estate and detached garage. The family was preparing the home to sell in the next few years.

Our Process:

TCC painted almost every single room in this estate, including hallways, sunroom, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, office, children’s library and two living rooms. Each of these rooms were engraved with extravagant crown moulding which takes an expert painting to be able to do. Any and all wallpaper was stripped, washed of all glue and then sanded down to be primed. Three of the ceilings had new boarding installed, plastered and then painted with two finish coats. All bathrooms and bedrooms were also scraped and sanded and had a coat of primer and then two finish coats to color match what was existing. Any cracks or damaged trim was repaired and caulked and then painted over to match the existing color. 

After Tom Curren Left:

After rigorous and excellent work done by the TCC crews, we left the Chestnut Hill Estate in pristine condition. The house was ready to be sold for a brand new family to move in with a clean and bright interior. We have also completed smaller carpentry jobs for the previous homeowners in their new residence.
