Before Tom Curren Arrived: 

This Lincoln client required carpentry repairs for multiple rooms, and wanted to paint the interior walls and ceilings throughout their home. The garage, bathroom, basement, living room, and some bedrooms were all in need of maintenance to make the home look like it once did. The living room has a gorgeous cathedral ceiling that had developed some cracking in the plaster, the basement needed new baseboards, the garage ceiling needed to be repaired, and the shower needed to be re-caulked. These homeowners brought Tom Curren Companies in because they knew that we could have their home looking brand new again!

Our Process:

This home didn’t require any structural changes, so repairs on the walls and ceilings were fairly straightforward and easy. Our team repaired the crack in the plaster on the cathedral ceiling, installed new baseboards in the basement to finish off the room, and we fixed cosmetic damages in the other rooms along the way. 

After we finished with all of the carpentry work we got started on the interior painting part of this project. The first step in the TCC painting process is always to prep the space. We covered up any surfaces that weren’t going to be painted so no excess paint would get any place it shouldn’t. After we protected the home with rosin paper and plastic on the floors, appliances, and windows, we sanded the walls to remove any imperfections, before we primed and painted the surface. For this project we used Benjamin Moore paint on both the ceilings and walls.
