Cabinet Painting in Belmont, MA
Final Project Details:
Project Details: Cabinetry Painting
Paint Color: Sherwin Williams, Flat White
Town: Belmont, MA
Before Tom Curren Arrived:
After receiving one of our postcards in the mail, these new Belmont homeowners agreed to hire us for their cabinetry refinishing project. They wanted to give their kitchen a brand new look by swapping out the old for the new. White cabinets have been a very popular way to change the vibe in your kitchen, so as such, these homeowners decided to go with a Flat White color by Sherwin Williams.Â
Our Process:
Cabinetry painting is quite different from painting walls or exterior siding. To do this, our skilled crews have to take the doors and drawers off so they can paint each piece separately. Each piece is feather sanded followed by one coat of primer. Instead of hand painting, the drawers and doors are all painted by a high pressure spray paint machine with three to six finish coats of lacquer. Between each coat of lacquer there is another light sand so they are all equally even and come out the same.Â
After Tom Curren Left:
For a smaller project, this offers a huge impact on any kitchen with an astonishing transformation. Each of these cabinetry jobs are done in the client’s home to expedite the process and shorten the job time. We had also completed interior painting in other parts of this client’s residence including hallways, bathroom and bedrooms.Â
