Deck Construction in Wellesley Hills, MA
Final Project Details:
Project Details: Deck Rebuild
Paint Color: Benjamin Moore Stain
Town: Wellesley Hills, MA
Before Tom Curren Arrived:
Our new client in Wellesley Hills wanted a fresher and more modern deck to match her style. To do this TCC crews needed to tear down the existing deck (which was all natural lumber) to create space for the new structure. In keeping with the modern feel, the homeowners sided with composite instead of natural wood which will inevitably last longer in the long New England winters. The color of the deck was also changed from a rustic more natural wood color to a sleeker Slate Gray color made by Azek.
Our Process:
Our crews first task was to demolish the original deck- removing all of the wood decking, balusters, railings and newel posts from the deck and staircase. New Azek 5/4”x6” Slate Gray decking were installed with a beautiful Mahogany horizontal slat railing system. Two coats of stain were applied to the railings, along with new coats of Benjamin Moore paint on the deck joists, support column, lattice work and concrete walls along the homes foundation.
After Tom Curren Left:
These new clients in Wellesley Hills were ecstatic with the finished product. They were always pleased with the professionalism of the crews and in the timely manner in which they showed up and left the property. This new deck will now be a place that can be enjoyed by the homeowners and a place they can entertain throughout the warmer season. We hope to continue to do work for our new clients and approach each job with as much meticulous details as possible.
