This client wanted us to freshen up the paint on the exterior of their 1980’s Lincoln home. After years of taking a beating from the elements, the client decided to hire us to make their home look brand new again!
Our Process:
Before any exterior painting, the first thing we do at Tom Curren Companies is wash the entire exterior by hand. For this project, we used Jomax to hand scrub the house, and then we lightly hose it down with water. We also used Moss-B-Gon on the roof to remove any buildup of moss on the shingles.Â
Before we began painting we sanded down all the imperfections on the clapboards (which is wooden siding), then we primed and finished by painting the house with 2 coats of Benjamin Moore Briarwood Latex. For this project, we also sanded, primed, and painted 28 windows, 3 exterior doors, the garage doors, and the columns and railings on this home. For the trim and doors, we used the Benjamin Moore Lancaster paint.

We left these clients happy and with a house looking 5 years younger than when we first arrived! Our Lincoln clients were so impressed with the job that we did on their house that they invited us back to do more work. We also painted this home’s interior and did some carpentry work as well.
